4 best abs workout tips
by Carrie Helfers

Do you ever wonder why all of your 100 sit-ups a day aren’t cutting the fat away from those “could be rock hard abs”? Here are four tips from Petri Olsson to follow to help lose that extra stomach flab we all love to hate:

  1. Stop doing so many abs exercises in a day! People think that by spending lots of time on crunches they will get a faster result, that’s not the case. Don’t focus all of your time during your workout on abs. Exercise your abs about three times a week for about 10 minutes per day.

  1. Know the correct technique. By exercising your abs in the wrong way, you could end up with a terrible back ache. Learn the correct ways to do crunches from a trainer or someone who knows the correct techniques or you will be wasting your time doing them the wrong way.

  1. It’s not a race! Everybody wants to get in and out of the gym as fast as possible so they can continue with their day, but take your time. You need time to do your workout, let your muscles get the full effect of the exercise and you’ll see sufficient results.

  1. Learn from professionals. Don’t hesitate to ask for help with your workout. Getting help from someone who knows the proper way to exercise the abs will help you achieve the results you’re working for.

However, exercising your abs alone won’t cut it; make sure you’re eating healthy as well. You burn more fat if you don’t consume more fat. Doing abs workouts aren’t the only way to burn fat in the mid-section, so ask a professional for a full body workout plan that works for you.

Consider these four steps while working for your rock hard abs and you’ll be on your way to great results!

Key words: abs workouts, exercising
